Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Lima Acharya has urged the government to establish a legal provision ensuring farmers receive payment for their produce within 15 days. Speaking in the House of Representatives, Acharya highlighted that farmers nationwide are facing significant delays in payments for milk, sugarcane, and rice, impacting their ability to cover essential expenses and leading youth to seek overseas employment.
