Budget aims to set new benchmark for good governance: FM Wagle

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle stated that the upcoming fiscal year’s budget will set a benchmark for good governance through reforms in policy, laws, institutions, processes, and leadership. Presenting the budget for fiscal year 2083/84, he outlined the government's aim to end policy indecision and administrative delays to build a result-oriented governance system. The budget prioritizes a production-oriented economy, good governance, and technology-friendly development, focusing on key drivers of economic change like ICT, AI, finance, trade, investment, and the Nepali diaspora.
