Government Expands Courier Services for Digital Public Service Delivery

The government is expanding its courier services to digitize public service delivery, aiming to deliver documents like passports, driving licenses, and educational certificates to homes. This initiative has been rolled out in 60 districts, with plans to connect services digitally for easier citizen access. The Department of Postal Services has facilitated the delivery of thousands of passports and driving licenses, with a portion reaching recipients' homes. The department is also collaborating with Nepal Telecom for SIM card delivery and with universities for educational certificate distribution, while working on system integration with various government agencies.
