Putin to Visit China for Talks with Xi Jinping

Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit China from May 19-20 for a two-day meeting with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. The discussions will focus on strengthening the partnership and strategic cooperation between Moscow and Beijing, as well as exchanging views on international and regional issues. Putin will also meet with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang to discuss economic and trade cooperation. The visit occurs following US President Trump's trip to China and is expected to address trade and geopolitical tensions, including the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
