The Lumbini Province government is preparing a production- and employment-oriented budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS, prioritizing infrastructure development and social justice. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Dhanendra Karki stated that agriculture, industry, tourism, energy, and infrastructure development will be key pillars for economic prosperity. The government plans to implement skill-based training, self-employment, and startup programs for youth to generate employment opportunities within the province.
