Revenue from land and property transactions in Nepal increased to over Rs 6.26 billion in the Nepali month of Baisakh (mid-April to mid-May), up from Rs 6.16 billion in Chaitra (mid-March to mid-April). The Department of Land Management and Archive reported that this revenue comprised Rs 3.31 billion from registration fees, Rs 2.55 billion from capital gains tax, and Rs 344 million from service tax.
