Supreme Court Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has taken a 20-day leave following the appointment of Manoj Kumar Sharma as Chief Justice. Malla, who was serving as Acting Chief Justice after the retirement of Prakash Man Singh Raut, was reportedly dissatisfied with Sharma's recommendation due to seniority. She was also absent from Sharma's oath-taking ceremony.
