Nepal, UK ministers discuss trade, investment and ex-Gurkha issues

Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and the United Kingdom’s Indo-Pacific and Equalities Minister Seema Malhotra held talks in Kathmandu, discussing bilateral ties, trade cooperation, and concerns of former British Gurkhas. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in investment, trade, education, tourism, climate action, and digital technology. Khanal urged the UK government to address unresolved grievances of ex-British Gurkhas, while Malhotra expressed positivity about resolving the issue.
