Lawmaker Criticizes Government's Slum Dweller Resettlement Decision

A CPN (UML) lawmaker criticized the government's decision to demolish slum dwellers' shelters and provide Rs 15,000 for three months as inhumane. The lawmaker argued that the government should arrange permanent settlement instead of temporary measures and questioned the adequacy of Rs 100 per person per day for a family of five.
