Gorakhkali Rubber and 6 other state enterprises to be operated with PPP model

The Government of Nepal plans to revitalize seven underperforming public enterprises, including the Gorakhkali Rubber Industry, by adopting a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Waglé announced this plan during the federal budget presentation for fiscal year 2083/84. A Due Diligence Audit (DDA) will be conducted for each enterprise to ensure transparency and facilitate the selection of private partners, aiming to reduce fiscal drain and boost industrial efficiency.
