Pokhara Avengers Flag at the Summit of Mount Everest

Nepalese mountain guide Pasang Kaji Sherpa summited Mount Everest on May 23, 2026, carrying the Pokhara Avengers flag. This expedition, his 8th Everest summit, aimed to raise awareness about climate change and the protection of Himalayan glaciers, while also promoting Nepalese sportsmanship and cricket development. Chairman Subodh Tripathee stated the expedition was a call to preserve glaciers and encourage cricket's growth.
