Janakpurdham Heritage Journey Organized to List Janaki Temple in UNESCO World Heritage Site

A 'Janakpurdham Heritage Journey' was organized on Saturday to advocate for the Janaki Temple's inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. The procession, starting from the Janaki Temple, traversed historical sites including Pethiya Bazaar, Rangbhoomi Maidan, and Ram Janaki Vivah Mandap, concluding at the Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Mithila Cultural Building. The event aimed to conserve Janakpurdham's heritage and secure the temple's world heritage status, drawing participation from local residents, students, and cultural conservationists.
