Information and Communications Minister Dr. Vikram Timalsina emphasized that community radio remains important in the modern technological era and should become technology-friendly and operate according to public expectations. Speaking at the 30th anniversary of Radio Sagarmatha, he highlighted the need for ethical and responsible journalism. Dr. Timalsina stated that the state is spending Rs 30 crore on public welfare advertisements, with other advertisements halted due to manipulation, and pledged to play an interventionist role for media sustainability.
