Diaspora Policy Dialogue on “Diaspora Knowledge Bridgesfor Nepal” Held at Stanford University

A policy dialogue and workshop on "A Roadmap for Strategic Diaspora Engagement: Building Knowledge Bridges for Nepal" was held at Stanford University, organized by the Global Nepali Professional Network (GNPN) and featuring Dr. Khagendra Raj Dhakal of the Nepal Policy Institute (NPI). The event explored structured diaspora knowledge and capability engagement beyond remittances for Nepal's development. Participants discussed practical mechanisms and policy ideas, emphasizing the need for trusted systems to convert global connections into national capability. A joint NPI-GNPN Policy Task Force was proposed to develop a Diaspora Knowledge Recapitalization Framework.
