Government to operate Gorkhakali Rubber Industry, six other state entities under PPP model

The government plans to operate the Gorkhakali Rubber Industry and six other public enterprises under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle stated that due diligence will be conducted before bringing in private investment partners. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development has been allocated Rs 286.48 billion for road infrastructure, highways, bridges, and feasibility studies for railways and tunnel projects.
