Iran has stated that it has not accepted any new steps regarding its nuclear program during ongoing talks to end the war with the United States. A potential agreement being mediated proposes a 30-day deadline for implementing steps related to maritime blockade and the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also demands the unfrozen of a portion of its foreign-held assets in the first phase.
