Nepal stars denied Belgium T20 league NOC amid national duty clash
Several top Nepali cricketers have been denied No Objection Certificates (NOCs) by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to participate in the EU T20 Cricket League in Belgium due to a packed international schedule. Players like Aasif Sheikh, Rohit Paudel, and Sandeep Lamichhane were drafted by franchise teams but were not cleared to play. CAN prioritized national commitments, including the Asia Games qualifiers in Singapore and the All India Gold Cup in Uttarakhand, over the Belgium league which starts June 6. Only Ishan Pandey and Gulshan Jha received NOCs.
