Lumbini to begin debate on annual policy, programme today

The Lumbini Provincial Assembly is scheduled to convene its seventh meeting to discuss the government’s annual policy and programme for the fiscal year 2083/84. The meeting will include a zero-hour session for lawmakers to express views on contemporary issues, the tabling of a bill on the protection of traditional practices of the Tharu Community, and the presentation of a motion of thanks regarding the annual policy and programme. Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya will propose the commencement of discussions on the annual policy and programme.
