The NEPSE index increased by 1.77 points to close at 2,731 points today, with the share prices of 127 companies rising and 121 falling. Nabil Debenture 2089 saw the highest earnings for its unit owners at 7.71 percent, followed by Modi Energy with a 5.26 percent gain and National Insurance Company with a 3.36 percent gain.
