Book on Traditional Newar Mask Dance 'Mukundo Nach' Released

A comprehensive book titled 'Traditional Mukundo Nach of Newar Community' by Veena Joshi (Rajbhandari) has been released, detailing the traditional mask dance and living history of the Newar community. The book, a result of 30 years of research, covers the tantric background, cultural dimensions, and historical aspects of the dance. Author Joshi emphasized that traditional dances are unwritten living history and stressed the importance of preserving them for future generations.
