The government is set to unveil the budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 in a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on Friday at 4:00 PM. Lawmakers have been instructed to be present before 3:45 PM. The announcement coincides with Republic Day, observed annually on Jestha 15 as per the constitution promulgated in 2015.
