Heavy Rainfall in Various Districts Amidst Rising Terai Temperatures

Despite rising temperatures in the Terai region, several districts experienced heavy rainfall due to the influence of westerly and local winds, and a low-pressure area near eastern Nepal. Tumlingtar recorded 95 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, with other districts also reporting significant precipitation. Meanwhile, temperatures in Dhangadhi, Dipayal, and Nepalgunj exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, and Kathmandu reached 28.4 degrees Celsius. Moderate rainfall is possible in various hilly and mountainous regions, with a chance of hot days in Sudurpashim and Lumbini Provinces.
