Ecan Expresses Concern Over Monitoring of Educational Consultancies

The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (Ecan) has expressed serious concern over the monitoring and raids conducted against educational consultancies, deeming the criminalization of the sector based on isolated incidents unacceptable. While supporting action against fraud, Ecan criticized the current investigative approach, stating it damages the reputation of legitimate institutions and Nepal's international educational credibility. Ecan Chairman Laxman Poudel urged caution, emphasizing that while wrongdoers should face legal action, the entire business should not be tarnished.
