Syangja Short-Stay Service Center Proves Effective for Violence Victims

The short-stay service center in Syangja, established to rescue, provide relief, and rehabilitate victims of violence, is proving effective. The center, coordinated by Putalibazar Municipality with support from local levels, offers shelter, food, legal aid, and counseling to women facing gender-based violence, domestic disputes, or abandonment. As many as 22 individuals have received services, with 15 being victims of rape and sexual assault.
