Muslims across Nepal celebrated the festival of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) with prayers at mosques and Eidgahs, following a government-declared public holiday. The festival, celebrated on the 10th day of the 12th Islamic month, involves morning prayers, exchanging good wishes, and the tradition of animal sacrifice (Qurbani) in memory of Prophet Ibrahim's devotion. The sacrificed meat is divided among the poor, relatives, friends, and one's own family.
