Nepal-China mechanism to meet on June 2

The third meeting of the Nepal-China cooperation programmes mechanism is scheduled for June 2, co-chaired by Nepal's Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also launch the MoFA Mitra App on May 26 to assist Nepali citizens abroad. Nepal is observing May 29 as International Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) Day and is in the process of ratifying the BIMSTEC Maritime Transport Agreement.
