Construction Entrepreneurs Federation Warns of Industry Collapse, Demands Government Action

The Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs of Nepal has warned that the country's construction industry is on the verge of collapse and has submitted a 13-point memorandum to the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives. The Federation cited losses of approximately 10 billion rupees due to price increases in construction materials, the negative impact of low bidding on construction quality, and issues with insurance premiums. They are demanding government action to address these problems, including payment issues, site clearance, material availability, and accountability for project delays.
