Nepalgunj Marathon wins AIMS Social Award

The Nepalgunj Marathon has been selected to receive the AIMS Social Award, a prestigious honour from the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The award recognizes outstanding marathons for their organizational excellence and commitment to the sustainable development of sport. Founder TS Thakuri received confirmation from AIMS vice-president Martha Morales. The award ceremony will take place at the 25th AIMS World Congress in Tromsø, Norway. The Nepalgunj Marathon, established in 2015, has been held annually without interruption and has also organized other events like the Nepalgunj 10k Night Run and the Kathmandu 25km Heritage Race.
