Trump urges patience in Iran nuclear talks, says no rush for deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed negotiators not to rush discussions with Iran over a potential nuclear agreement, stating that "time is on their side" and sanctions will remain effective until a deal is finalized. Trump reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to develop or acquire nuclear weapons and assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he will not support any agreement unless Iran fully dismantles its nuclear program. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani indicated that Iran and the United States are working toward finalizing a framework understanding.
