Nepal Rastra Bank has directed banks and financial institutions to provide easy and accessible banking services to senior citizens, people with disabilities, and non-literate individuals. This includes setting up special counters, making at least one branch per local level disabled-friendly, and installing Braille-equipped ATMs. Banks are also required to ensure their websites and mobile banking apps are accessible to visually impaired users and include tactile features on debit/credit cards.
