Japan supports construction of school building in Jajarkot
A classroom building at Shree Bheri Tribeni Secondary School in Jajarkot, destroyed by an earthquake in November 2023, has been rebuilt with Japanese assistance. The new 12-room building was constructed under the Government of Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) program with financial support of $170,159. The project, implemented by Volunteer Corps Nepal, aims to provide students with a safe learning environment and strengthen ties between Nepal and Japan.
