Russia downs 1,045 Ukrainian drones in 24 hours

Russian air defense forces shot down 1,045 Ukrainian drones, one Neptune-MD guided missile, and one Flamingo cruise missile in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Sunday. The ministry stated that Russian forces also conducted strikes on drone assembly sites and deployment points for Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries. Earlier, the ministry reported downing 556 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, while Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin noted over 120 drones were downed over the capital in the same period.
