Nepal and Thailand have agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, culture, agriculture, and education. During a meeting between Nepal's Ambassador to Thailand and the Director-General of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides reviewed the implementation of eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and discussed easing visa procedures and combating transnational crimes. They also planned for the next Joint Consultative Mechanism session and explored ways to improve trade complementarities.
