NRB absorbing Rs 100 billion to manage liquidity

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to withdraw Rs 100 billion from the banking system today through a 61-day deposit collection instrument as part of its liquidity management initiative. The bidding process will be conducted electronically, with principal and interest to be repaid on July 21. Licensed banks and financial institutions can participate with a minimum bid of Rs 100 million.
