Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has pledged to make all possible efforts for the development of the sports sector and recognition of players. Bidding farewell to the Nepal National Women Football Team participating in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship, Pokharel stated that priority would be given to player recognition and sports advancement. The team received the national flag and jersey during the ceremony.
