Honey production declines in Chitwan

Honey production in Chitwan district has decreased by over 16 percent this year compared to last year, with 450 metric tonnes produced against 540 metric tonnes previously. Chief of Beekeeping Development Centre in Bhandara, Sujan Amgain, attributed the decline to unseasonal rain, which affected the production of mustard and chiyuri, leading to reduced honey harvesting by commercial farmers.
