North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has instructed top military officials to strengthen front-line units and transform the southern border into an "impregnable fortress." State media reported that Kim set forth plans for enhancing military and technical aspects of major units to deter war, with experts suggesting these plans are informed by developments in the Ukraine war. The meeting occurred on the same day the North Korean women's football team arrived in South Korea.
