Real estate transactions and revenue collection rise in recent months

Revenue collection from house and land transactions has increased in recent months, according to data from the Department of Land Management and Archives. Between mid-April and mid-May, land revenue offices collected Rs 6.26 billion, an increase from Rs 6.16 billion collected in the previous month. The revenue comprises registration fees, capital gains tax, service fees, and contributions to the Chief Minister Cleanliness Campaign Fund, indicating a gradual upward trend in the real estate market.
