Indian national arrested with gold

An Indian national, Param Pathak, was arrested at the Kakarbhitta customs checkpoint with 570 grams of 24-carat gold and 20,000 US dollars. The gold is valued at 14.465 million rupees, and the US currency is equivalent to 3.065 million rupees. Indian currency and various identification documents were also confiscated from the arrested individual.
