Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gaurikumari Yadav, inspected the state-owned Hetauda Cement Industry, which has been facing a prolonged financial and operational crisis. The Minister expressed regret over the shutdown of the state-owned factory while private companies operate and reaffirmed the government's commitment to resuming its regular operation and reopening all closed state-owned industries. The industry has been shut down due to outdated machinery, frequent breakdowns, and a shortage of raw materials, leading to employees not receiving salaries for 11 months and the industry failing to clear dues.
