World Bank to assist Nepal in educational development

Part of: Nepal's Education Sector Seeks Transformation and Funding for Parental Engagement

The World Bank has pledged to provide assistance to Nepal for educational development, focusing on improving the education sector, expanding infrastructure, and promoting a technology-friendly system. Country Director David Sislen conveyed this during a meeting with Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokhrel. The World Bank expressed interest in further investment in school infrastructure and collaboration on reforms for quality education.
