The life insurance sector in Nepal has significantly expanded its institutional investment in the Nepal Stock Exchange, with total equity allocations exceeding 46.11 billion rupees by the end of the third quarter of fiscal year 2082/83. Himalayan Life Insurance Limited leads with 12.46 billion rupees invested, followed by Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited with 6.96 billion rupees. Several other life insurance companies, including Saniima Reliance and National Life Insurance, have shown substantial year-on-year growth in their equity investments.
