NRB Absorbing Rs 100 Billion To Manage Liquidity

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) plans to withdraw Rs 100 billion from the banking system today through its deposit collection instrument with a 61-day maturity period. The central bank will conduct the auction electronically, with bids closing at 3 pm today and the principal amount plus interest due on July 21. Licensed banks and financial institutions can bid a minimum of Rs 100 million, with higher amounts divisible by Rs 50 million.
