Squatter family to get Rs. 15,000 monthly as housing cost

The government has decided to provide Rs. 15,000 per month as housing cost for squatter families removed from risky river banks in the Kathmandu Valley. Families with more than five members will receive an additional Rs. 2,000 per month. This assistance will be provided for three months, and a one-time resettlement support of Rs. 25,000 will also be given after verification.
