Stakeholders in the Kathmandu Valley are intensifying efforts to preserve and promote Nepal's ancient Charya Dance, a sacred practice rooted in Vajrayana Buddhist tradition. Considered one of the world's oldest spiritual dances, it is now being brought to public performances to promote indigenous culture and cultural tourism, though challenges remain in maintaining its classical purity.
