Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, stated that the government will gradually address public concerns regarding roadways, sewage, electricity, and drinking water. Speaking at a public hearing in Kathmandu constituency-5, Pokharel also assured that infrastructure assessments for community schools would be conducted, with future budget allocations based on need rather than equal distribution. Additionally, he committed to a more transparent and professional process for selecting university vice-chancellors.

Nepal's food safety authority has ordered a nationwide recall of over 500,000 jars of Dabur Honey, specifically batch number NB00477 manufactured in December 2025, after laboratory tests revealed it failed to meet mandatory food quality and hygiene standards. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DoFTQC) has instructed all retailers and distributors to immediately remove the product from shelves due to public health concerns, particularly for vulnerable groups.
