Nepali Congress MP Nischal Rai has urged Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal not to apply double standards to parliamentary protests, reminding him of past opposition actions. Rai stated that the current placard protests by the opposition are being unfairly labeled as undignified, contrasting it with similar actions taken by the ruling party when they were in opposition. He asserted that the government's actions have created the current situation, challenging the parliamentary system.
