Postpartum Woman Rescued by Helicopter from Gorkha Due to Eclampsia
A 24-year-old postpartum woman, Vimla BK, from a remote village in Gorkha was airlifted by a Nepali Army helicopter to Kathmandu for emergency treatment. She was suffering from eclampsia, a severe illness that developed 13 days after childbirth. Her condition remains serious following the rescue.
