Shape of Momo

Multiple Nepali films are gearing up for release, with 'Shape of Momo' set for a simultaneous launch in Nepal and India on May 29, supported by Spirit Media. Meanwhile, 'Roll No. 1' has opened advance bookings nationwide, securing over 150 shows, and 'Zero Degree', a dark comedy addressing corruption, is slated for release during the Tihar festival.

The 23rd Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) commenced with the Nepal premiere of Tribeny Rai's film 'Shape of Momo,' while separately, discussions around refining the proposed Film Bill 2082 are ongoing in the House of Representatives. Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Paudel officially opened the festival, emphasizing the importance of cinematic storytelling, as the festival showcases over 50 films from 29 countries.
