Sita Badi

Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Social Security Sita Badi has reported significant progress in policy and legal reforms within her 51-day tenure, completing 15 out of 28 allocated tasks from the government's 100-point agenda. The ministry has initiated investigations into land embezzlement concerning the Nepal Children's Organization and prepared drafts for several key acts, including the Children Act and the Human Trafficking Act.

Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security, Sita Badi, has informed the House of Representatives' Women and Social Affairs Committee about the ministry's efforts to reorganize the Social Welfare Council and the National Child Welfare Council. She emphasized the necessity of policy reforms and structural changes to achieve government goals, including reviewing laws related to children's rights and persons with disabilities.
